Thanksgiving

So much for doing better with my blog...lol. Well as everyone knows, we are back in Louisiana. Mikes job was kind enough to offer him the opportunity to work in the southeast with a home office. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, since Mikes mom was diagnosed with cancer in May. She had a rough time between two surgeries and recently completing 5 weeks of chemo and radiation. We are so thankful to share Thanksgiving with them.

Kids are adjusting well. Lauren had a rough start this time, she enjoyed her school and living in CO. Gabby finished high school volleyball and now on the basketball team. Gabby is enjoying high school and making lots of new friends. Lauren will play club volleyball in the winter. Maggie is doing awesome!!! She loves school and beginning to interact more with her peers. She started reading a few weeks ago, we were amazed! We're looking into equine therapy for her soon. She also started dancing this year and loves it as well. William is a cutie pie, hes ALL boy, and we love him to pieces. We are so proud of our kids!

I'm working at a local hospital in Nursery and NICU, as well as helping in lactation. I mainly work 1-2 nights/wk. Trying to get settled and unpack, again. We're renting for now and hope to start looking for a home in the spring.

So much to be thankful for this year, our health, our family...God continues to bless us in so many ways. Wishing you and your family a blessed and happy thanksgiving!
