Summertime

Well...looks like last blog was springtime, so we'll try for a "new" season here. As usual the Trosclair household is busy!

The kids are having a good summer so far. At the end of May, we visited our family and friends in Louisiana and Alabama, had a wonderful time seeing everyone. Unfortunately, we learned in May that Mike's mom was diagnosed with colon cancer. Her surgery was during the time we were in town, which was nice that we could be there with her. Her prognosis looks very good, and she will have her colostomy reversed soon, and then they will do chemo and radiation. Please keep her in your prayers.

Gabby graduated from 8th grade and gearing up for high school. She is attending volleyball and basketball camps this summer, and meeting new kids. Lauren is anxious to start middle school, and will be attending Sacred Heart again. They have both been a huge help with watching the kids for me when I work, and earning extra money babysitting.

Maggie is starting Kindergarten next month, hard to believe. She is attending extended school year for 2 more weeks, and having a blast. Then, she will be going to princess camp at our Rec center, the last week of July. She is doing great and progressing very well.

Mr. Will is mobile and wild! He's a sweetie pie, but very mischievous and curious. Don't know where he could possibly get that from...lol We love him to pieces, but have to say boys ARE different, very busy!

Mike is enjoying his job here in Colorado. The company has been great so far! I work at night a couple of nights/week then occasionally pick up shifts in lactation at another hospital close by.

The weather here is wonderful! Very low humidity and cool temps. It is completely different from the south. Very scenic and unbelievable! If we could just put our family and friends here, it would be perfect!

Have a great summer!
