Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe 2010 is here!  We had a wonderful holiday season.  We spent Christmas in Disneyworld, had a blast!  It was hard to come back to reality after beign there for a week, but as most of you that have been to Disney know, your pocketbook empties very fast there.  The girls loved it, Will on the other hand was a typical 20 mo old and could only tolerate a few hours at a time.  I think we will go back when he is old enough to understand and enjoy himself more.

The kids are doing well and keeping Mike and I busy as always.  The girls are doing well in school.  Gabby is now playing basketball for her high school.  She is having a good time and making new friends everyday.  Lauren did very well this semester: 4 A's and 2 B's.  She is playing  volleyball for a local club team and seems to be enjoying herself.  Maggie is doing great in school, her teachers are amazed at her progress.  She LOVES school and it is so awesome to see her interacting with her peers.  It's hard to believe William is almost 2.  He is a very active little boy, but also has such a sweet disposition. 

We are enjoying being back in Louisiana, especially now with our SAINTS football team!  It's nice to see our family and old friends more often.  Of course, the New Orleans food has been difficult to resist, so I'm working on exercising more and losing weight, a long time goal I've worked hard to achieve.  I'm working at a local hospital, and also making new friends of my own.  We are looking forward to Mardi Gras in New Orleans since we have not celecbrated it here in 10 years!  We are looking forward to buying a home soon, since our rental is quite cozy with all six of us.
