Happy New Year

Its hard to believe we are in the year 2009...where did 2008 go? Lots of changes for the Trosclairs, and we're still going strong :)

Mike loves his new job, its so nice to see him so happy. This move has been the best thing for all of us! Very little travel so far which we all love :)

Gabby is doing pretty good...she is having a tougher time "fitting in", but very excited about high school next year. We've applied to the local catholic school and public school as well. She's finishing up basketball and getting ready for volleyball.

Lauren is doing well both academically and socially. She's also finishing up basketball and looking forward to her favorite sport, volleyball.

Maggie is doing okay, good days and bad days, very typical of Autism. I've decided to dedicate a blog to my journey with Autism, a little more detailed to discuss what is really going on with Autism and our journey in healing. She is such a loving child, and I know there is hope for her to get better. Maybe a book in the future. who knows?

Will is a sweetie pie, and into everything! Definitely busier than the girls, and is keeping me on my toes. I think I'll have to explore baby gates for the stairs very soon, like tonight...lol. He's a good baby, and loves being the center of attention, imagine that?

As for as me, I'm working a couple days/week between two different hospitals, one in NICU and another as a Lactation Consultant. In my "spare time" (haha) I'm busy trying to organize, clean and care for my family. I love having more time with the kids and Mike.

Although, all my children mean the world to me, I'm putting a little more time into what we need to do to help Maggie. She is so young and this is a vital time to give her as much as I can. Through God's grace, I know she will heal.

This week, we are taking a special trip to Breckenridge, a real treat for all of us. The girls want to ski, but I've decided to not fall on my butt 100 times and stick to regular shoes. So Mike and girls will enjoy the slopes, and Will and I can go shopping! Its the Ice Sculpture contest and we are all very excited!

Thats all for now.. except we just got a new car! Actually Mike did, and for those of you that know Mike's old jeep, he needed it! His new baby...The Dodge Durango!
